TIRE STATE HOSPITAL
Tire State Hospital with a capacity of 200 beds was designed as a mono-block structure on an area of 35.000 m2. In the access to the building, the separation of personnel, patients and visitors was considered, external patient, internal patient, visitor and personnel flows were separated with unit zoning in horizontal and vertical circulation, circulation conflicts were prevented.
In order to provide spatial and psychological comfort, it is aimed to receive maximum daylight in all spaces with the splits opened in the roof coverings and interior gardens. In the perception of interior and exterior, belonging, privacy and orientation are used as the most important design inputs.
All spaces used by the patient, such as examination, patient bedroom, observation areas, are planned to benefit from daylight. The gallery space at the entrance of the hospital was planned together with the entrance eaves and the perception of interior and exterior was integrated.
