SAMSUN Integrated Health Campus consists of 2 buildings, the Main Hospital with a 900-bed capacity and the TSB (Technical Service Building), and is located on a land of 220.000m². The Main Hospital, designed as earthquake-proof; it consists of a diagnostic block in the center and 2 bed towers with 4 arms each. The structure consists of four different branch hospitals: General, Women and Children, Cardiovascular Surgery and Oncology. The main hospital building was designed to be compatible with the topography, and block entrances at different levels were considered.

From the main entrance level of the hospital, the entrance to the General and Women’s and Children’s Hospital outpatient clinics and the circulation spine with a gallery are provided. On the upper level of the main entrance, there are Cardiovascular Surgery and Oncology polyclinic entrances. The emergency department is planned at a different elevation from the hospital traffic. In the access to the building, the separation of personnel, patients and visitors was considered, external patient, internal patient, visitor and personnel flows were separated in horizontal and vertical circulation and unit zoning, circulation conflicts were prevented. The Main Hospital has a closed area of 290.000 m2.
